I have an older home that was built in the 1940's that is full of character and the charm of that era. I desperately needed new doors and did not want to settle for the standard six panel doors. I chose a two panel door from the 1940's era. I also had a special request for the closet doors in each of my bedrooms. I wanted the center of the door to be a mirror. The personal service I received from Laura Spear at Washtenaw Door was wonderful. She showed me the most beautiful beveled mirror doors for my closets which I did purchase.

I took my old doors in to the warehouse at Washtenaw Door. They used my old doors for a template to cut and fit the new doors. They cut all the hinges and door handle openings from each of my old doors and marked them for me. All we had to do was paint the doors and hang them. This saved my husband and I many, many hours of time and work. It was painless to hang the new doors.

The doors I purchased for my house from Washtenaw Door, are perfect for my 1940's era house, and they were very reasonably priced. Everyone who comes into my house comments on my new doors, especially my closet doors.

I recently purchased a house and needed to replace all the interior doors, the door casings, the trim around the windows, and the base boards. I also wanted to add crown molding throughout the house. I went to both Home Depot and Lowe’s to look at doors, base, trim, and crown and was disappointed on the lack of selection and the hassle with most of the items I liked were “special order” and would take a minimum of 10 days.

I just kept saying how extremely happy I was with both the service and products from Washtenaw Door & Trim and would recommend them to anyone who is building or remolding a home.
